How we feel about ourselves affects everything. It is wise to give it time and patience, and to assess where we are before moving to the second part of the workshop.

Part 2 - Observing emotional heaviness and pain

The coming to terms with our true feelings and emotions, in the light of self-knowledge. After sometimes our comical resistance and lying, to have reverence for the holiness of the soul's desires. Gaining insight into the workings of human emotion calls our attention to the importance of moral values and the danger of social convention that stifle the hearts more generous impulses.

Part 3 - mindfulness and ego awareness

We all have a Don Quixote the ego and a Sancho Panza, the self ... and in egoic mood, Don Quixote goes fighting with the windmills.

Outward circumstances are no substitutes for inner experience. Sometimes when no answer comes from within to the problems and complexities of life, then they perhaps ultimately mean very little.
